Jordskredet började vid elvatiden på tisdagsförmiddagen, svensk tid, i staden Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec i delstaten Oaxaca.

A landslide in the Mexican state of Oaxaca left hundreds dead and 300 families homeless, Excelsior reported citing state civil protection authorities.
Severe rains caused a landside in the town of Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca, Mexico City-based Excelsior reported citing Carlos Ramos Aragon, director of the state civil protection service.
The landslide started around 4:00 am local time,according to the newspaper. Soldiers and rescue workers are being mobilized to the town, Excelsior reported.
