Miranda Lambert blev den stora vinnaren på årets upplaga av den amerikanska galan Academy of Country Music Awards, ACM. Lamberts singel "Automatic" utsågs till årets låt, skivan "Platinum" blev årets album själv utsågs Lambert till årets kvinnliga artist samt fick ett specialpris med anledning av galans 50-årsjubileum, skriver Rolling Stone.
Lambert slog igenom 2005 med debutalbumet "Kerosene".
