Yes, she is pregnant with Owen Wilson's child – but no, they are not a couple.
In this world exclusive interview Caroline Lindqvist opens up to Aftonbladet about having a baby with the Hollywood star.
It was revealed earlier this month that star Owen Wilson, 44, is set to become a father again, this time with Swedish-born Caroline Lindqvist, 41.
Various news sources claimed she was Wilson's personal trainer, and had decided to divorce husband Dr. Ritu Chopra after discovering she was pregnant with the actor's child.
Steps forward to dismiss rumours
But now, in a world exclusive interview, Caroline Lindqvist quashes the rumours once and for all.
”Owen and I decided to have a child even though we're not in a relationship,” declares Caroline.
”And we're not planning on starting a relationship, either.”
In her first-ever interview, published in full this Friday in Aftonbladet's Klick! supplement, Caroline Lindqvist also tells us that while she is indeed a personal trainer based in Los Angeles, she has never had Owen Wilson as a client.
Old time friends
Instead, Caroline reveals that she and the Hollywood star actually used to be a couple several years ago and have remained friends.
”Owen and I are two close friends having a baby together”, she tells us. ”We are really looking forward to it and can't wait to welcome our child at the end of January.”
Caroline also tells us that her divorce was not related in any way to her being pregnant with Wilson's child.
